Graphics
Littlewoods is part of the Cryptologic network. and like on other Cryptologic sites the table graphics are not the best. As is usual with Cryptologic. on Littlewoods there are no avatars (player characters) which means each seat appears identical. But the main problem with Littlewoods is that the table is just too busy. The colours are brash and loud. and the graphics of side tables are completely unnecessary adding to a confusing clutter that overwhelms the image.
Playability
Table
Cryptologic’s software could be improved. The main problem is the game play/chat window. which has a major design flaw. Essentially the problem is that with every bit of new text the chat window flicks to the bottom – making it virtually impossible to read back text or gameplay if you miss it the first time. Fortunately Cryptologic are working on the problem. but in the meantime it remains a considerable annoyance. On the upside however. hand history appears in a small and manageable separate window. and is comprehensive without being full of unnecessary information. as it can be on other sites.
Lobby
Littlewood’s lobby is pretty good. It is very clearly laid out and displays useful information such as players per flop and average pot size alongside each table.
Player Numbers
Ring
Littlewoods shares its player base with other sites on the Cryptologic network. such as Betfair and InterPoker. meaning there are always lots of players at every level. There high limit tables are particularly well populated.
Tournament
As above: being part of a network ensures there are always lots of tournament players and you very rarely have to wait for a table to fill up.
Game Variety
Texas Hold’em. Omaha Hi. Omaha Hi/Lo. 7 Card Stud and Heads-Up Hold’em games. All games are available in all three currencies.
Rake
The rake on Littlewoods is essentially the industry average: 5 percent on any pot over £5/$5/€5 up to a max of £3/$3/€3. Just remember that this means playing on a sterling (£) table means you pay higher rake than if you play on a dollar table. as £3 (the max rake on a sterling table) is equivalent to $5.2. meaning the max rake on a sterling table is almost double that on a dollar table.

There are regular guaranteed pot tournaments. with a 50K guaranteed tournament every Sunday and also regular qualifiers to the 2006 WSOP.
