WSOP Update: Hellmuth misses out on tenth bracelet. Again.
There is something about the last four WSOP tournaments that has had the feel of a H.O.R.S.E hangover. Take nothing away from those who have won, their victories have all been impressive, but it feels like something’s missing since the end of the star-studded H.O.R.S.E tournament.  Read more..

WSOP Roundup: Reese takes down H.O.R.S.E while Madsen and Chen win Hold’em events

WSOP Update: Clare Miller wins Seniors NL Hold’em while Betchel leads HORSE field with 18 left
The $1000 NL Hold’em Seniors (over-50’s) tournament drew to a close today, with Clare Miller wrapping up an impressive performance with an easy victory. Meanwhile the $50,000 buy-in H.O.R.S.E event provided the excitement, and more, everyone had been hoping for.  Read more..

WSOP Update: Friedberg wins $1000 NL Hold’em while Kesselman bags the PL Hold’em
Two events finished yesterday, with two new WSOP winners as a result. The $1000 NL Hold’em event drew the second largest field in the history of poker, with 2,891 players sat at the start of Day One, second only to the 2005 WSOP main-event.  Read more..

We’ve now passed the half-way line in this year’s WSOP and some of the most exciting events are almost upon us, such as the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship, the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E Championship, and tomorrow’s much anticipated $5,000 Heads-UP NL Hold’em Championship.

With 26 events accounted for the 2007 WSOP is almost at the half way stage. Although numbers have dwindled slightly down from the record breaking Event #3 the Rio is still buzzing, and a number of events have topped the 1,500 mark since.

14/06/2007 17:17:40 2007 WSOP: Events #17 - #21 The WSOP continues to roll on, with almost three events finishing every day now, and as we get further into proceedings the pro players seem to be making the final tables with regularity.
