NETeller founders to appear in court in February
NETeller’s Canadian founders John Lefebvre and Stephen Lawrence, arrested by US authorities last week, have had a preliminary court hearing set for next month. They will face the government’s charge that they laundered some billions of dollars in offshore gambling profits.

Magnus Petersson is first EPT champion of 2007
It was his first appearance on the European Poker Tour but it seems unlikely to be his last, after 29-year-old Magnus Petersson collected the €550,000 ($715,000) first prize and the title of Scandinavian Poker Open Champion in Copenhagen last weekend.

The Great Dane wins Aussie Millions
One of the most popular and successful tournament poker players of the modern era notched yet another victory last week as Gus "THe Great Dane" Hansen took down first place in the Aussie Millions, collecting $1.5 million Australian dollars in the process, equivalent to $1,184,900 USD.

Aussie Millions main-event: 14 play down to 7
The penultimate day of the Aussie Millions was always bound to be a short one as just seven elminations were required before the final table was settled and play would end for the day.

Aussie Millions Main Event Day Three: 80 play down to 14, big guns still in the running
Despite the strong showings of Gus Hansen, Andy Black and Patrik Antonius on Day Three of the Aussie Millions main-event, when all was said and done the day belonged to one man, or should I say boy. Jimmy "Gobboboy" Fricke, from Illinois and aged just 19, began the day third in chips and ended as the runaway chip leader after a string of remarkable bust-outs and suck-outs which sent the watching crowd into a frenzy.
