PartyPoker founders sell shares topping £200 million
PartyPoker’s founders and biggest shareholder’s recently sold shares in the company worth in excess of £200 million, adding yet more strength and stability to the already flourishing poker industry.
Anurag Dikshit, Ruth Parasol, Russell DeLeon and Vikrant Bhargava sold shares in PartyGaming Plc roughly £66,000,000, £39,000,000, £39,000,000 and £77,000,000 respectively.
The fact that buyers were not hard to come by proved that PartyGaming is still highly rated in the business world, and the shares were snapped up in no time.
Despite the massive sums involved the total shares sold represents only a small chunk of the founder’s holdings in the company – with Anurag Dikshit, for example, maintaining shares worth £1.36 billion in PartyGaming.
On 7th June PartyGaming shares were trading at 117.75p.
