Howard Lederer joins Poker Player’s Alliance
Howard Lederer, holder of two WSOP bracelets and a living legend in the game, has joined the Poker Player’s Alliance (PPA) board of directors.

The PPA is organization for grassroots poker players with over 27,000 members. Its mission is to promote the game and look after the rights of American poker players.

Lederer has already been working with former WSOP champions Chris Ferguson and Greg Raymer in an attempt to stop Congress from passing bills aimed at preventing online ga,mbling.

“Poker is under attack by Congress, and I believe that all poker players should join the PPA and tell Capitol Hill that we do not want the Federal government to ban an American tradition that we love," said Lederer.

Speaking about Lederer’s move PPA president Michael Bolcerek said: “I'm thrilled that Howard has agreed to join our board. Howard's reputation within the poker community and his ongoing efforts on behalf of our organization and poker players to defend the game from attacks by Congress and others make him a great addition.”
