Boss of Hooters dies aged 69
The chairman of Hooters, the international restaurant chain famous for its pretty waitresses, has died.

Robert Brooks made his fortune from Hooters, the controversial restaurant chain that hires only pretty women prepared to where rather less than the conventional waitresses uniform.

Set up in 1983 Hooters was bought by Brooks and a number of other investors a year later, before Brooks bought control of the company.

Criticised for exploiting pretty women Hooters employs over 15,000 “Hooters Girls” in 20 countries across the globe.

A post mortem said Brooks dies of natural causes.
