Ongame Poker Classic starts tomorrow
The first round of the Ongame Network Poker Classic (ONPC) $5000 buy-in event starts tomorrow, November 4th, with a minimum $900,000 guaranteed prize pool.
The ONPC, which predicts a prize pool well in excess of the guaranteed $900,000, starts tomorrow and plays down to 45 competitors before breaking for a four week hiatus.
After the four week break the final 45 competitors will fly to Barcelona where the tournament will resume live, with each player picking up where he left off, with chip counts identical to at the close of play four weeks earlier. The Ongame Network, which counts the giant PokerRoom.com among its members, will take care of flights, hotels and VIP treatment for the finalists, without taking any money from the prize pool. In fact they are adding $100,000 instead.
Members of the Ongame network such as EuroBet Poker, Hollywood Poker, and of course PokerRoom.com have been running satellites for the event for weeks now, some of which cost as little as $1. There is still time to qualify, just, but those who fail to do so can always buy straight into the event for the full $5000.
It’s not to late to sign-up to PokerRoom for your chance to qualify for the ONPC.
